Conference Highlights

Exhibits

Welcome explorers! Vendor guides will showcase the latest hardware and software products on the market. Be sure to check with the vendor guides to see the sights in the booths and uncover the latest items to assist your students on their journeys of discovery. Like Puzzles? On your trek throughout the area, search for the puzzle pieces in the vendor booths. A handout with more information about the vendor trek will be in your vendor packet. Prizes will be awarded at various times in the exhibit hall throughout the conference and at the conclusion of the conference on Friday at 12:15 p.m.

Thursday Luncheon

Get energized for your own journey as Ron Clark inspires us to reach for the stars during the Thursday Keynote Luncheon in the Ballroom. Tickets are required. You can check at the registration desk to see if tickets are still available.

Thursday Evening Special Preview

NCTIES and Discovery Channel / Discovery Education will host a sneak preview of LIFE with a special Introduction by In- ternational Speaker and Education Innovator Hall Davidson. LIFE is the follow up to Discovery's acclaimed Planet Earth series, and will be available to educators on Discovery Education Streaming PLUS the day after each episode airs on Dis- covery Channel! Join us in Ballroom A at 6:00 p.m.

Thursday Evening Raleigh Restaurant Ramble

On Thursday evening, March 4, we will be offering our attendees the opportunity to have additional "adventures" as they explore downtown Raleigh via the FREE R-line bus system. Buses run every 10-12 minutes until 2 a.m. Attendees and vendors can access the bus at the front of the convention center. A "smartcard" for restaurant discounts will be available for NCTIES attendees and vendors thanks to the Greater Raleigh Convention & Visitors Bureau. This "open evening" will provide an excellent opportunity for attendees and exhibitors to network as they expand their horizons.
